Fjällräven Greenland Jacket | Black
Fjällräven Greenland Jacket | Black.
The Classic outdoor jacket that will withstand wind and wear for many years. Made with G1000 it includes six pockets and a fixed, snugly fitting hood.
An outdoor classic from 1968 that was developed by Åke Nordin in collaboration with members of the Greenland expedition of 1966. The original Greenland Jacket was made from tent material that was too heavy for lightweight tents. The result was an extremely durable climbing jacket that didn’t take long for it to gain popularity for use in forests and fields where it was also shown to be extremely hardwearing. Today many of the early versions have been passed through families to younger generations.
Today’s Greenland Jacket is made from wind and water resistant G-1000 Original with double layers of fabric over the shoulders and yoke. This G1000 hardwearing fabric is extremely effective in ventilating out moisture when you are active and when extra protection against wind and water is required the jacket can be impregnated with Greenland Wax.
